The 16th of October 2013 saw Citrus Australia with NSW Department of Primary Industries, Citrus Industry Development Officer Steven Falievene deliver a presentation on the importance of the Chinese marketplace for export quality Navels and the systems in place for growers to be registered to be able to supply this rewarding growth market. The new requirements for the 2014 season means that there will now have to be 2 inspections by accredited crop monitors to help maximise the positive out-turns in the market. Growers are urged to speak to their pack house on the requirements if interested.
